CM THAR BORDER AREA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

To provide better facilities to residents living in border areas ‘MUKHYAMANTRI THAR SEEMA KSHETRA VIKAS KARYAKRAM(CHIEF MINISTER THAR BORDER AREA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME) has been launched. The programme has a total outlay of RS 150 CRORES. In addition to this scheme ‘ Guru Gowalkar Aspirational Blocks Development Scheme’ has also been started for the development of 35 most backward blocks of the state. An outlay of RS 75 CRORES has been sanctioned for this scheme. Further enhancing the scope of regional development the budgetary outlay for DANG, MAGRA, BRAJ AND MAGRA DEVELOPMENT  SCHEMES has been increased to RS 100CRORES each.

In addition initiatives for ensuring regional development initiatives are also being undertaken for ensuring inclusive development. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee District Upliftment Scheme has been launched which will address district specific problems and requirements for holistic development of state’s districts.
