Rajeevika–RVJVV Agreement to Strengthen Livelihoods of Forest-Dependent Communities

Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajeevika) and Rajasthan Vaniki evam Jaiv Vividhata Vikas Samiti (RVJVVS) have signed an MoU on 7^TH  August.The MoU aims at providing sustainable, diversified, and alternative livelihood opportunities to forest-dependent communities.The work will carried out under the Rajasthan Forest & Biodiversity Development Project (RFBDB), funded by AFD France. It  will cover 800 villages spread over 13 districts.As per the project’s plan 1200 Self Help Groups(SHGs) will be formed. These SHGs will be further organised into village organisations(VOs) and Cluster Level Federations(CLFs).
