In Udaipur, Mewar and people of Rajasthan are celebrating the valor, pride and sacrifice of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap and an important meeting is lined up on Thursday for the final approval of an important tourism project to preserve his legacy and promote the tourism in the city. The Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit, announced to connect the historical sites associated with Maharana Pratap, now appears to be moving closer to becoming a reality as this ambitious project gains momentum.

Project Worth More Than ₹100 Crore Receives Approval

The project, worth over ₹100 crore has already received administrative and financial clearance, said Omkar Singh Lakhawat, Chairman of the Authority. In the last two years, the land allocation work has been done at Diver, Chavand and Haldighati.

Final approval for the proposal is expected at Thursday's meeting and work is expected to begin right away.

The project is an ambitious tourism project focussed on the valorisation of the history, culture and history of the Mewar region. The Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit will be expanded under this project, at a cost of around ₹100 crore.
