New Greenfield Airport Approved in Kota-Bundi The Central Government has accorded approval to a new Greenfield Airport at Kota-Bundi. The project has been cleared by Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The project is estimated to cost around Rs1507 crores.The proposal was prepared by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).The new airport will be located at Shambhoopura, about 20 km away from the existing Kota airport.Government of Rajasthan has already transferred 440.646 hectares of land...
