Cancer Screening and Rural Healthcare Services Strengthening in Rajasthan

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar, the state of Rajasthan is developing its cancer screening services at the grassroots level. The programme ensures that cancer symptoms are detected early, enabling timely intervention and saving lives.

In this effort, a Mobile Cancer Screening Van has been introduced in Khimsar, Nagaur district, offering health check-ups near villages and hamlets. On 2nd November, the Health Minister inaugurated the Dialysis Centre at the Government District Hospital, Khimsar, and flagged off the mobile cancer screening van.
