India has reached the global top 100 of the 2025 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Index, a milestone feat in the country as it is ranked in the 99th position among 167 nations in the world. The report released by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network places the SDG rating of India at 67 with the ranking rising strongly from 109 th in 2024 showing a stable improvement towards achieving the universe of the 17 SDGs adopted by the United Nations.
