Khelo India University Games 2025 – Rajasthan to Become a Sports Hub

The Khelo India University Games (KIUG) 2025 will take place in Rajasthan for the first time between 24 November and 5 December 2025 under the patronage of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The tournament, spread across all divisional headquarters and Jaipur, will feature over 4,000 athletes and 2,000 coaches and officials from about 200 universities nationwide. A review meeting was chaired by Sports Department Secretary Dr. Neeraj K. Pawan at the Jaipur Collectorate to oversee preparations. A total of 21 sports disciplines will be contested, 11 of them in Jaipur. The Games aim to strengthen sports infrastructure, promote Rajasthan as a national sports hub, and showcase the state’s growing sports culture and hospitality.
