Modi to Dedicate Dhordo as India’s Newest Solar Village

A remote village in Kutch district, Gujarat, Dhordo has been recognised all over the world as the Best Tourism Village by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO). It will now be awarded in more glory as the latest solar-powered village in India.  Dhordo will take official status of a Solar Village at the Samudra Se Samriddhi programme, in Bhavnagar, September 20, 2025, given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
