PM Modi to Inaugurate SEMICON India 2025 – India’s Biggest Semiconductor & Electronics Show
Inauguration ceremony of the fourth edition of SEMICON India 2025, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be held on 2 nd September at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The three-day event will see an exhibition of 350 exhibitors, 50+ global CXOs, 33 nations and over 15,000 visitors to make it the biggest semiconductor and electronic show in South Asia. The three-day event will break down into seminars and presentations on fabs, advanced packaging, AI, smart manufacturing, sustainability, and workforce development with the theme being Building the Next Semiconductor Powerhouse. Under the Semicon India programme, India has already approved 10 major semiconductor industry projects, such as fabs, OSATs and compound semi projects. The expo will demonstrate how India has become a leader in the semiconductor ecosystem on the way to becoming a global hub, as envisaged under the Atmanirbhar Bharat.
