On 29-30 December, the Central Detective Training Institute (CDTI), Jaipur officially started the two day national hackathon SHIELD 1.0 Smart Hackathon for Intelligence, Enforcement, Law and Defence. The main objective of SHIELD 1.0 is to develop solutions to the contemporary issues of the intelligence and law enforcement agencies based on the means of the technology. The event has united cyber experts, developers and innovative students in the whole of India. The hackathon is concentrated on digital forensics, cybercrime prevention, artificial intelligence (AI), and surveillance intelligence. According to CDTI, the desired result is the enhancement of novel systems that will enable India to have a strong and competitive internal security and policing system across the globe.
