Context

A high-level committee chaired by Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah approved projects worth ₹4645.60 crore for 9 states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.The committee also included Union Finance Minister, Agriculture Minister, and Vice-Chairman of NITI Aayog. The assistance will be provided from the National Disaster Mitigation Fund (NDMF). The committee also cleared the second phase of the Urban Flood Risk Management Programme.   71st Wildlife Week was inaugurated on 2nd October at Nahargarh Biological Park, Jaipur. Around 330 students from various schools took a pledge for the protection of wildlife.   Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani will represent Rajasthan in the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC). Conference will be held in Barbados from 5–12 October 2025.
