The Prime Minister flagged off and laid the foundation stones of 26000 crore of infrastructure and welfare projects in Rajasthan. These include railways, roads, renewable energy, water supply and medical education. Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) seeks to revamp railway stations into regional footprint and improved facilities. India is pursuing clean energy using large solar and transmission schemes. Launched during the month of May in the year 2018, AMRUT 2.0 initiatives are aimed at urban water supply and sustainability.
