RAS Application Fees

The RAS Application Fees for 2026 vary by category - General candidates pay ₹600, while SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates pay ₹400 as an OTR (One Time Registration) fee. Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts the RAS/RTS Combined Competitive Exam through an entirely online RAS Application Process that begins with OTR via the Rajasthan SSO portal, followed by the exam-specific application form. This guide covers the complete RAS Application Process 2026, fee structure for all categories, form correction window charges, and step-by-step instructions to apply online for RPSC RAS 2026.

RAS Application Fees 2026 – Category-Wise

The RAS Application Fees are charged at the OTR (One Time Registration) stage. Once OTR is completed, this fee is valid for all future RPSC recruitments - candidates do not pay it again for each exam.

OTR Fee Structure

Category RAS Application Fee (₹)
General (UR) ₹600
OBC / MBC (Creamy Layer) ₹600
EBC (Creamy Layer) ₹600
Candidates from Other States (Any Category) ₹600
SC / ST (Rajasthan Domicile) ₹400
OBC / MBC (Non-Creamy Layer) ₹400
EBC (Non-Creamy Layer) ₹400
EWS (Rajasthan Domicile) ₹400
Sahariya Tribe (Rajasthan) ₹400
PwD / Divyangjan (Rajasthan) ₹400

Important Note: Reserved category candidates from states other than Rajasthan are treated as General (UR) in Rajasthan. They must pay ₹600 regardless of their home-state category certificate.

RAS Form Correction Fee 2026

RPSC provides two correction windows for candidates who need to fix errors in their submitted application. Each correction submission is charged separately.

Correction Window Details

Window Editable Fields Fee Timing
Window A Most personal fields + photo/signature ₹500 per submission During the application period + up to 10 days after the last date
Window B Most personal fields (name/DOB/photo/gender NOT editable) ₹500 per submission Opens approximately 60 days before the exam and remains available for 7 days

No corrections are accepted once the examination has been conducted. Use correction windows carefully.

Past RPSC RAS Application Fees (Pre-OTR Era)

Before the OTR system was introduced, RPSC charged separate RAS Application Fees per recruitment. For reference:

Category Previous Application Fee (₹)
General (UR) / OBC (Creamy Layer) ₹350
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS ₹250
SC / ST / TSP SC-ST ₹150

This fee structure no longer applies. Under the current system, the OTR fee replaces the per-exam application fee.

What is OTR? (One Time Registration)

One Time Registration (OTR) is a one-time profile creation process introduced by RPSC on the Rajasthan SSO portal. It captures your identity and personal details permanently. Key points:

  • OTR is done once - applicable for all future RPSC/state recruitment exams
  • Identity fields like name, date of birth, and father's name are locked after OTR and cannot be changed later
  • OTR fee is non-refundable
  • All details in OTR must match your Class 10 marksheet exactly

RAS Application Process 2026 - Step by Step

The complete RAS Application Process is done entirely online. There is no offline form. Follow these steps carefully:

Step 1: Create or Log In to Rajasthan SSO ID

Visit sso.rajasthan.gov.in and create an SSO ID using Aadhaar, Bhamashah, or any valid government identity document. If you already have an SSO ID, log in directly.

Step 2: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR)

  • Go to the Recruitment/OTR section inside the SSO dashboard
  • Enter all personal details exactly as in your Class 10 marksheet (name spelling, DOB, etc.)
  • Select your correct category under the Rajasthan reservation rules
  • Pay the RAS Application Fees (₹600 or ₹400 as applicable) via net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI
  • Save your OTR receipt - this is your permanent RPSC profile

Step 3: Open the RAS 2026 Application Form
